An established industry player is seeking a Facilities Inventory Person to manage and document inventory across various facilities. This role involves making physical inventories, identifying discrepancies, and assisting in the verification of records. Basic Qualifications
Minimum of Six months experience in recording and transcribing numbers and descriptive information and making inventory counts. Ability to communicate effectively written & orally. Basic understanding of facility layout and machinery blueprints; various hand tools. Must be High school graduate or equivalent and possess a valid driver’s license. Lockheed Martin plant layout knowledge. Position requires continuous walking, stooping, and lifting.

Job Description
OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY
Make physical inventory of all facilities other than real property. Locate, identify and describe these facilities. Compile inventory records for control and accounting purposes and prepare reports on inventory problems.
WORK PERFORMED
Make physical inventories, perpetual and annual, of all facilities other than real property.
Locate, identify and describe all facilities for verification of accounting record purposes.
Investigate discrepancies between physical location of facilities and accounting records.
Investigate and document all facilities received or relocated for verification of description and proper location. Prepare reports of findings on inventory problems.
Contact appropriate departmental personnel for verification of inventory records.
Advise and assist accounts clerks in the verification and reconciliation of inventory records.
Under direction may prepare special reports as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIRED
Understand and apply a working knowledge of accounting principles as related to facilities and inventory problems. Knowledge of engineering drawings, symbols and general engineering nomenclature as related to facilities. Familiarity with plant and buildings, location of all departments and key personnel.
Desired skills
Experience maintaining accurate records of all facility-related assets-equipment. Tracking stock movements and discrepancies. Audit experience to ensure accuracy.

Work Schedule Information
Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
