Job summary

Qualifications

License and Certification: Valid Georgia driver's license required. Must obtain refrigerant and forklift operator's license within six months of hire.

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Two years in warehouse operations or similar; experience with computerized data entry preferred.

Skills: Ability to follow oral and written instructions; knowledge of warehouse operations, parts procurement, receipt, stocking, and issuance; ability to operate material handling equipment and a two-ton vehicle; proficient with computer systems and inventory management.

Primary Responsibilities
  1. Organize parts storage areas for safety, accuracy, and efficiency.
  2. Serve as backup for inventory control functions.
  3. Utilize specialized equipment to manage data entry and processing, including verifying and processing parts transfers and receipts.
  4. Handle parts orders, deliver parts to job sites, and manage tools and equipment issuance.
  5. Requisition materials from central supply, manage stock levels, and handle returns and replacements.
  6. Reconcile purchasing card activity and manage related accounts.
  7. Notify management of material needs and purchase emergency supplies as directed.
  8. Maintain stock security and monitor material usage, ensuring transaction records are complete.
  9. Conduct physical inventories, identify and correct discrepancies, and perform cycle counts.
  10. Perform other duties as assigned.
Physical Demands

Standing, walking, climbing, reaching, talking, hearing, manipulating tools, lifting up to 50 pounds, operating vehicles, and working in various environmental conditions are required. Accommodations can be made for disabilities.
