Job summary

GOEBEL FIXTURE COMPANY is seeking an Inventory Control & Material Handling Technician to support PTAA operations. You will identify vendors, obtain quotes, place orders, and manage inventory in a warehouse environment.

Strong record-keeping, CMMS proficiency, and forklift experience are essential. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain forklift certification.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or trade education and 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification when hired.
• Pre-employment drug-screening and fit-for-duty exam required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license with 3 years of driving history.
• Experience with inventory, procurement, and facilities operations.

Responsibilities

• Identify vendors, obtain quotes, and place orders per PTAA policy.
• Complete requisition and order forms accurately.
• Inventory materials, determine reorder points, and initiate purchase requests.
• Receive, store, and issue equipment, materials, and supplies to staff.
• Operate equipment like forklift and basic warehouse tools.
• Maintain detailed inventory records and entry logs in CMMS.
• Perform periodic physical inventories and verify flows of materials.
• Organize supplies; keep facilities clean and store areas orderly.
• Support maintenance tasks and snow removal as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
