Job summary

Lindt is seeking a Facilities Intern to support the Facilities department at our Stratham, NH site. You will analyze machine components, model parts in CAD, and help improve equipment performance within a 1-million-square-foot chocolate factory.

During the twelve-week Lindternship, you’ll work with engineers and technicians, build prototypes, run data analyses, and learn PM processes while contributing to real improvements in production reliability and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Be a junior or senior enrolled in an accredited university degree program (Mechanical Engineering preferred).
• Strong mathematical skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency with a computer and MS Office.
• Knowledge of engineering principles.

Responsibilities

• Weak component analysis using engineering principles to determine failure modes.
• Redesign or prototype fabrication and testing.
• Create and monitor prototypes in system against success criteria.
• 3D modeling and CAD/SolidWorks; read mechanical drawings.
• Improve preventive maintenance processes with technicians and planning teams.
• Develop Parts Priority Number using equipment knowledge and usage data.
• Analyze spare parts history to optimize inventory.
