Job summary

The Building People, LLC, is seeking an Operations & Maintenance Inspector with an active Secret Clearance to join our government-focused team in the Washington, DC area. You will perform facility inspections, assess building systems, document deficiencies, prepare reports, and support QA/QC activities while providing repair recommendations.

A minimum 7 years of inspection experience and an associate degree are required.

Qualifications

• Active Secret Clearance is required.
• Associate degree in construction management, building sciences or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of inspection or facilities assessment experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform facility inspections of building systems.
• Conduct condition assessments and inspections.
• Document deficiencies and code violations.
• Estimate remaining useful life of facility components.
• Prepare inspection reports and findings.
• Support QA/QC activities.
• Provide recommendations for repairs and corrective actions.
