The City of Claremont is seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead maintenance operations for City buildings, facilities, and infrastructure. Qualificações

• Four+ years of maintenance, landscape, and/or contract administration with at least two years in a supervisory role.
• Two years of vocational or college-level training in business management, public works, facilities maintenance, construction management, or a related field.
• Desirable: Bachelor's Degree; experience with an asset management or automated work order system.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize, direct, and evaluate work of City staff and contractors in maintenance, repair, and improvements of City buildings, facilities, and infrastructure.
• Oversee maintenance and repair of City buildings, facilities, streets, signs, sewers, storm drains, sidewalks, curbs, gutters, streetlights, and related infrastructure.
• Coordinate contractors, consultants, and vendors to meet City standards and contract requirements.
• Respond to citizen requests and concerns and help resolve issues effectively.
• Promote and enforce safe work practices, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist with budgets, purchasing, inventory, equipment replacement, and expenditure monitoring.
• Prepare work schedules, project reports, inspection records, and maintenance documentation.
• Help develop operational goals, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Coordinate maintenance-related activities for seasonal and special events.
• Serve as a liaison with other City departments, divisions, and outside agencies.
