Job summary

CGL Facility Management, LLC seeks a qualified HVAC Technician to perform preventive and some corrective maintenance on existing HVAC systems for our client. You will document work in the CMMS, install and service equipment such as VAVs, air handling units, pumps, and boilers, and ensure safe, code-compliant operation.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of HVAC maintenance experience, read blueprints, and hold EPA 608 certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1-3 years years’ commercial or residential HVAC maintenance experience required.
• Read blueprints and as-built drawings.
• Must be able to read blueprints and as-built drawings.
• Will be on-call shifts occasionally.
• Microsoft Office skills required.
• EPA 608 Certification required.
• HVAC Certification preferred.
• Driver's License valid in state.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventive and some corrective maintenance services to existing HVAC equipment.
• Installs, repairs, and maintains machinery and mechanical equipment including VAVs and air handling units.
• Maintains safe operation of systems including boilers and environmental controls.
• Diagnoses problems using inspection/testing and monitoring techniques.
• Familiarizes with facility design and operating procedures for environmental controls.
• Complies with safety procedures and OSHA standards.
• Inspects completed work for code conformance.
• Escorts subcontractors during site work.
• Performs other maintenance tasks as directed.
• Mentors junior technicians when needed.
• Drives company or personal vehicle for company business >50% of time.
