Job summary

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts seeks an experienced HVAC/Facilities Engineer to maintain HVAC, plumbing, and sprinkler systems across its 16‑acre campus, including the Central Mechanical Plant. This full‑time role supports a 24x7 operation and requires joining Local 30 within 30 days if not already a member.

Ideal candidates have a refrigeration license and 5+ years of hands‑on experience with chillers, steam systems, and related equipment, plus strong electrical/plumbing abilities and

Qualifications

• Current refrigeration license required.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience maintaining HVAC, plumbing or sprinkler systems (not including apprenticeship).
• Experience with electric/steam centrifugal chillers and steam/condensate systems.
• Experience with refrigeration equipment and domestic hot water heating systems.
• Strong electrical and plumbing skills; hands-on mechanical work including motor replacement.

Responsibilities

• Maintain HVAC, plumbing and sprinkler operations for Lincoln Center’s 16‑acre campus.
• Work in a 24x7 operation with potential overtime; join Local 30 union within 30 days if not already a member.
• Support Central Mechanical Plant and multiple buildings and spaces with reliable operations.
