Union League Liberty Hill seeks a Facilities Technician to operate, adjust, and maintain building mechanical and electrical systems to ensure safety, economy and comfort. You will inspect boilers, chillers, pumps, and lighting, and perform preventive maintenance across sites.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HVAC or refrigeration operation and maintenance experience.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, schematics and technical manuals.
• Good oral and written communication.

Responsibilities

• Operate, adjust, and maintain building mechanical and electrical systems for safety, economy, and comfort.
• Check boilers, chillers, air handlers, water pumps, fan coils, and heat pumps; adjust as needed.
• Inspect interior/exterior lighting and refrigeration equipment; record temperatures.
• Maintain electrical distribution systems up to 480 volts; perform preventative maintenance.
• Monitor energy management systems and adjust for occupancy and efficiency.
• Respond to emergencies; coordinate with outside contractors for warranty and preventive maintenance.
• Contact suppliers to purchase materials and repair parts; manage inventory.
