Job summary

Peckham in Lansing, MI is hiring for a Grounds Level I role. You will assist the Grounds Coordinator and Grounds Technician with planting, mulching, weeding, and turf care across Peckham facilities in Mid-Michigan. Some seasonal building maintenance and snow removal may be required.

Must be able to climb ladders, read a tape measure, and possess or obtain a Michigan driver’s license within 90 days. The position is full-time with daytime hours.

Qualifications

• Ability to climb ladders and work from heights; kneel and crouch for extended periods.
• This job requires the ability to distinguish between red and green.
• Candidate to possess or obtain within 90 days a valid MI driver's license.
• Ability to read a tape measure.

Responsibilities

• Assist with grounds maintenance such as planting ornamentals, mulch, hand weeding, and turf care.
• Operate a leaf blower; assist with snow removal as necessary.
• Assist with Peckham Farm projects and general maintenance tasks.
• Assist with special projects and set up of holiday decorations; general cleaning.
