Job summary

McLaren Health Care in Grand Blanc, Michigan, seeks a dedicated groundskeeper to maintain medical center grounds and facilities. Qualifications

Six months’ previous experience operating commercial grounds equipment.
Must meet approval by insurance carrier to drive medical center vehicles.
Education beyond high school preferred.
Two years of job related experience preferred.
Master Gardener Certification or state license to perform pesticide and fertilization applications preferred.

Responsibilities

Mow grass and trim shrubs to keep grounds well groomed and clean.
Plant, fertilize, water, seed, and weed to maintain landscaped areas.
Repair and maintain grounds equipment and inventory of salt and lawn care products.
Perform minor painting and inspect building surfaces, fences, curbs, and sidewalks.
Install landscaping items, parking blocks, and seasonal decorations as needed.
Indoor work when weather prohibits outdoor tasks and assist with related duties.
