Job summary

Preferred Apartment Communities is seeking a Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor areas and common spaces at our Dallas community. Responsibilities include cleaning, landscaping prep, and ensuring inspection-ready conditions daily.

The role requires physical ability to lift, bend, and operate tools, with a focus on site cleanliness and safety. Full-time position with excellent benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and dependable transportation.
• Ability to operate hand tools and test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain all common areas and grounds in a clean, attractive condition.
• Keep property in inspection-ready condition at all times.
• Inspect cleanliness of the community each morning, including public and common areas.
• Keep streets and curbs free of debris and monitor throughout the day.
• Run trash compactor daily and keep pad area clean.
• Prepare for monthly landscaping grounds walks, focusing on grounds and picnic areas.
• Empty trash in all common areas; keep Leasing Office parking lot and front entrance neat.
• Test pool/spa chemical levels and record readings daily.
• Maintain pool furniture and sweep/deck areas as needed.
• Keep breezeways and building entrances clean; secure equipment daily.
