Job summary

Guest Services, Inc. is seeking a Facility Maintenance Technician to perform routine buildings and grounds work. The role involves painting, drywall, concrete, and HVAC servicing to ensure safe, well-maintained facilities across various sites.

Candidates should have a High School Diploma and at least 2 years of maintenance experience, with the ability to use hand and power tools and communicate in English. A flexible schedule is required, with occasional overtime and weekend work.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of facility maintenance or carpentry related experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays, overtime.
• Ability to safely use hand and power tools.
• Basic Computer Skills (Excel, Word).
• Ability to speak, read, write and communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Paint and stain the interior and exterior of buildings.
• Repair damage to walls and flooring.
• Perform various woodworking tasks.
• Form and pour concrete for small slabs and footings.
• Replace and fix plumbing fixtures and maintain HVAC equipment.
• Utilize Maintenance Management Software to record logs of work performed.
• Carry out weekly preventative maintenance inspections of facility assets.
• Assist staff with facility recycling program.
• Occasionally assist with landscaping, mowing, snow removal, and custodial tasks.
