Ashland Community & Technical College is seeking a Facilities Worker III to support campus operations on a full-time on-site basis. The role involves maintenance, groundskeeping, and custodial duties to ensure safe, clean facilities for students and staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Experience with lawncare equipment, hand tools and power tools is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform groundskeeping and landscaping duties including snow removal.
• Inspect buildings, grounds and other structures to detect needed repairs.
• Perform repairs such as changing light bulbs, painting, carpentry and other assignments.
• Maintain appropriate documentation through the work order system.
• Perform routine and preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Deliver supplies and orders to different areas of the college.
• Assist in monitoring HVAC system.
• Perform custodial duties including cleaning and disinfecting restrooms, classrooms, eating areas, offices and meeting rooms, vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors, trash removal, dusting furniture and cleaning windows.
• Other duties as assigned.
