Job summary

Arrowhead West, Inc. Central Kansas Division (Pratt and Medicine Lodge) is hiring a Maintenance Worker to keep our facilities, vehicles, and grounds safe, functional, and welcoming for the people we serve.

You will perform routine maintenance and repairs, assist with carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, and grounds tasks, and handle snow removal in winter. This is full-time, independent work in a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred (experience may substitute).
• Basic knowledge of maintenance, repairs, and building systems.
• Experience with carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC, or grounds maintenance is a plus.
• Valid driver's license, safe driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move equipment and materials as needed.
• Willingness to work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facilities and agency vehicles.
• Assist with carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting, HVAC, and general repair projects; maintain agency grounds.
• Perform snow removal and ice melt application during winter weather.
• Complete vehicle inspections and report repair needs.
• Help keep facilities clean, safe, and in excellent working condition.
• Track maintenance activities and equipment records as assigned.
