Dunn County WI is seeking a Facilities Worker to help keep county buildings, grounds, and equipment running smoothly. You will monitor building systems, perform custodial duties, care for grounds, and handle basic repairs in a hands-on, varied role that supports a safe and welcoming environment for employees and the community.

The wage range is $20.58 to $26.99 per hour, with starting pay anticipated between $20.58 and $22.18. Interview dates tentatively scheduled for November 17–18, 2026.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of one year experience in custodial/buildings/grounds maintenance or equivalent.

Responsabilidades

• Monitors operation of boilers, air compressors, air conditioning and other equipment; adjusts settings as required. Performs heating and cooling water chemical testing; uses computer to monitor building automation system.
• Monitors and performs building security checks of doors and windows according to rounds, checklists and logs.
• Performs general custodial duties: locks/unlocks, sweeps, mops, waxes, buff floors, vacuums, empties garbage, changes bulbs, washes windows, sanitizes restrooms.
• Maintains daily operation and activity logs.
• Maintains grounds: mows, rakes leaves, removes snow, trims trees, operates lawn mower, attaches/removes snow plows, paints surfaces.
• Performs basic electrical and plumbing maintenance; installs switches outlets fixtures; repairs equipment; clears sinks; repairs leaks; inspects fire extinguishers.
• Maintains safe operation of County vehicles; checks fluids, brakes, tires; checks electrical systems; maintains maintenance logs; schedules vehicle maintenance.
• Moves furniture and equipment; sets up/tears down meeting rooms.
• Assists Facilities Technician as assigned.
• Performs other duties of comparable level as required.
