Job summary

Portledge School seeks an experienced Maintenance and Grounds Associate to join our Facilities team on the 63-acre North Shore campus. Responsibilities include field maintenance, event setup, basic repairs, and painting, with snow removal during inclement weather.

This is a full-time, 12-month role from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM reporting to the Director of Facilities. Requirements include a minimum of two years in groundskeeping or facility maintenance, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a valid

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years experience in field maintenance, groundskeeping, landscaping, or facility maintenance.
• Ability and willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated, dependable and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, weed grounds and maintain walking paths.
• Clean and maintain tennis courts and outdoor spaces.
• Seasonal landscaping tasks including planting, mulching, snow and leaf removal.
• Assist with setup and takedown for outdoor events.
