Job summary

St. Anne's-Belfield School in Charlottesville, VA, seeks a part-time Facilities Technician to support the Buildings and Grounds team with painting, drywall, plumbing, and general maintenance tasks.

This 10-hour-per-week role includes event setup, snow removal, on-call rotation, and coordinating with faculty and staff while delivering reliable customer service. The ideal candidate has at least three years of facilities maintenance experience, a Virginia driver’s license, and the ability to lift

Qualifications

• Safety best practices and proper lifting techniques
• Read and understand Material Safety Data Sheets (SDS)
• Oral and written communication skills
• Safe operation of vehicles and equipment
• Knowledge of plumbing and general facility maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Three years of experience in facilities maintenance
• Background checks as required
• Valid Virginia driver's license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Assist with painting, drywall, plumbing and general work orders.
• Support with preventive maintenance and running equipment as needed.
• Assist with event setup, snow removal, on-call rotation, and other tasks as assigned.
• Deliver excellent customer service to faculty and staff.
