Job description

The Grounds & Facilities Maintenance Worker will primarily be responsible for general maintenance of the Port’s facilities and grounds in accordance with operations and Port maintenance standards. Main job functions include:

• Landscape maintenance such as mowing, trimming and irrigation of various Port properties and facilities
• Installation, maintenance and repair of basic irrigation systems and related equipment
• General maintenance to include remodeling buildings, door installation, drywall, painting, and concrete work.
• Operate a wide variety of equipment and hand/power tools

To be considered for this position, you must have the following experience and education:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Two (2) years’ experience with irrigation systems
• Two (2) years’ experience in general construction and building maintenance
• One (1) year experience with small power equipment & related tools

Licenses/Certificates:

• Valid Washington State Driver’s License
• Public Applicators Spray License or ability to obtain within three (3) months of employment
