Job summary

The Department of Military Affairs seeks a Maintenance & Custodial Technician - Sandston to support ROMMs in maintaining and repairing buildings and grounds within the Sandston region. This civilian position serves as the primary preventative maintenance Trades Technician for the Army Aviation Support Facility in Sandston, VA, with a state pay range of $50,000 to $55,000 and a DMA pay band 2.

Qualifications

• Must have documented trade experience in Carpentry, HVAC, Plumbing or Electrical.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints.
• Valid Driver's License with acceptable driving record.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist the ROMMs in maintenance, repair, and minor construction of buildings and grounds within the ROMM's region.
• Serve as the primary preventative maintenance Trades Technician for the Army Aviation Support Facility in Sandston, VA.
• Provide safe, high quality, cost effective building and grounds maintenance.
