Job summary

Webster County Schools is seeking a Custodian/Maintenance worker to support facilities and grounds. The role requires following directions, good health, and ability to perform manual tasks including lawn care, cleaning, and light repairs.

Candidate must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights as needed, and hold a valid WV Driver's License. Training and supervision follow the Director of Maintenance guidelines.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate, read, write and follow directions.
• Health and dexterity suitable for prolonged standing and manual tasks.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull 50 lbs; enjoy outdoor grounds work.

Responsibilities

• Maintain positive work habits and perform duties effectively.
• Assist maintenance workers, custodians, mechanics as assigned.
• Perform lawn care, routine grounds maintenance, and minor repairs.
• Clean grounds and remove litter across facilities.
