Job summary

The Montana Department of Natural Resources and Conservation in Missoula seeks a Facilities Specialist 2 - Forestry Division Maintenance Supervisor to lead diverse maintenance and project work across campus facilities, shops, and grounds. You will plan, coordinate, and perform maintenance, oversee contractors, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualified candidates have a 2-year technical education and 3–4 years’ related experience, with a goal to obtain a Drinking Water Operator

Qualifications

• 2-year college or vocational training or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• 3-4 years of job-related work experience with project or personnel management.
• Obtain DEQ Class 4 AB Drinking Water Operator Certification within 6–9 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, perform, and oversee building and grounds maintenance and projects.
• Supervise temporary maintenance workers and contractors; manage priorities and procedures.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and accurate operational records.
