Job summary

The Missouri Department of Corrections is seeking a supervisory maintenance lead to oversee facility, grounds, and contracted workers in state facilities. This role plans and directs preventive maintenance, estimates time and materials, orders supplies, and maintains records.

You will supervise staff, conduct training, and perform performance reviews, ensuring proper operation of equipment. A strong background in maintenance leadership and problem-solving is required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old with three or more years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee facility, grounds, trade workers, and contractors in maintenance, operations, and repair of state facilities and grounds.
• Plan and organize work; prepare time/material estimates; order materials; maintain records and requisitions.
• Supervise staff including hiring recommendations, training, performance reviews, coaching, and progressive discipline.
