Qualifications

• AA degree or equivalent experience.
• Six years of industrial experience, including contractor management and coordination.
• Leadership experience in operations or facilities management.
• Experience with industrial water systems and/or industrial gas systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management oversight for Gas and Chemical Logistics and Inventory Management.
• Own and manage the annual operating budget, including blanket purchase orders and invoice approvals.
• Develop quarterly spending forecasts and financial plans.
• Monitor gas and chemical usage, spending, and supplier performance.
• Maintain uninterrupted availability of gases and chemicals by managing supplier relationships.
• Lead sourcing and contracting for chemical materials and services while ensuring safety and operations alignment.
• Identify alternate suppliers to mitigate risk and support continuity.
• Develop contingency plans to ensure operations continuity for critical supplies.
• Drive continuous improvement to increase on-site efficiency, safety, and performance.
• Serve as the primary contact for internal laboratory customers and address escalations.
