Volunteer State Community College seeks a Facilities Associate to support the Manager of Facilities and Director of Plant Operations. You will schedule bus drivers and fleet usage, track maintenance, and assist with bids and work orders.

Responsibilities include coordinating bids, reconciling invoices, handling correspondence, and maintaining appointment schedules. Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED and one year of related experience; an associate's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• One year of related experience.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Experience with RFP/Bid process preferred.
• Experience in facilities or fleet management beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Assign and manage bus and fleet vehicle use.
• Track, maintain, and schedule maintenance for college vehicles.
• Facilitate communications via telephone, CMMS, and two-way radio.
• Perform financial reconciliation of reports and invoices.
• Assist with bids, purchase orders, and vendor coordination.
• Arrange meetings and manage calendars for Facilities leadership.
