Job summary

Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks an experienced events and facilities manager to oversee all event preparation, setup, teardown, and post-event cleanup across the Sanford Pentagon, Fieldhouse, and outdoor fields. You will coordinate with local vendors, supervise setup staff, and ensure readiness of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and safety systems for every activity.

Bachelor's degree and 3–5 years of experience are preferred; BLS/AED certification must be obtained within six months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Three to five years of event or facilities management experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification required or within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Oversee event preparation, setup, teardown and post-event cleanup.
• Coordinate with local vendors and schedule rental equipment.
• Supervise event setup staff and ensure venue readiness for next events.
• Monitor HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection and life-safety systems during events.
• Assist with budgeting, purchasing and scheduling for Sanford Pentagon facilities.
