Job summary

Virginia Peninsula Community College is seeking a part-time Facilities Operations Specialist to support facility use, scheduling, and events. You will handle contract writing, negotiation, execution, and fulfillment while collaborating with internal departments to ensure professional event delivery.

The role requires coordinating with internal/external customers, and working evenings, nights, and weekends as needed, across campus locations in Hampton, VA.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of facilities and audio-visual technology.
• Understanding of event setup and room layouts.
• Knowledge of contract negotiation strategies.
• Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends as necessary.
• Ability to work with faculty, staff, employer partners, and external organizations.
