Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University is seeking a Facilities/Utilities helper to assist in setting up rooms for events across campus, including the Geiger Center. You will move items between stockrooms, warehouses, and mail rooms, and support other Facilities teams as needed.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs. Training may include forklift operation, with overtime and irregular hours possible.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers, students, faculty, and administration.
• High school diploma or GED with valid driver’s license.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, and lift up to 80 lbs; forklift experience preferred.
• Drug testing may apply; overtime and schedule flexibility required.
• Active member of a local evangelical church as a preference.

Responsibilities

• Set up rooms for events in campus facilities and related venues.
• Deliver items to and from stockrooms, warehouses, and mail room; assist other Facilities departments as needed.
• Assist Supervisor of Utilities/Grounds or Director of Facilities Management with duties and events.
