Job summary

Publix Super Markets is seeking a maintenance technician to support Retail stores by repairing and maintaining production equipment across multiple departments. You will evaluate, diagnose, and repair electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and gas systems, and assist with store remodels and PAD programs.

The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years of troubleshooting experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Three years' experience in mechanical/electrical troubleshooting and diagnosis of food preparation equipment.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record.
• Ability to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call 24/7.
• Willingness to travel to stores throughout the division, including nights and extended stays.
• Basic knowledge in Lock-out/Tag-out procedures and Food Safety.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and repair Retail equipment in Bakery, Produce, Meat, Deli, and common areas.
• Provide support to new stores, remodels, and PAD programs.
• Handle housekeeping tasks including vehicle inventory and paperwork.
