Job summary

Mashantucket Pequot Gaming Enterprise is seeking a supervisor under Environment Services to oversee daily activities of recycling, supply, grounds and repair staff.

A high school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years of stock room or cleaning experience is preferred; reading, writing and strong organizational skills are required.

A valid driver’s license is required; the supervisor will assist with payroll, training, evaluations and maintaining a safe, clean work environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with 1–3 years of stock room and/or commercial cleaning experience or related experience required.
• Must be able to read and write in English as well as have good organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the distribution and collection of cleaning supplies, amenities, and equipment. Ensures equipment is serviced and repaired properly.
• Ensures par stock levels and, if approved, generates requisitions to restore diminishing supplies.
• Conducts and/or oversees training programs for departmental personnel and implements new procedures. Conducts employee evaluations, counsels and assists in hiring of subordinate personnel.
• Performs all other related and compatible duties as assigned.
