Job summary

Great River Resort & Casino is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to oversee daily maintenance operations, staff, preventive maintenance programs, repairs, and facility safety. You will ensure compliance with codes and safety standards, maintain records, and support facility improvement and training while delivering excellent guest service.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED with a four-year degree preferred, and 5–7 years of experience in large-facility maintenance and supervision.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; four-year degree or equivalent preferred.
• 5–7 years in large-facility maintenance and supervision.
• Knowledge of construction, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, facility systems, and codes.
• Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints/schematics and operate maintenance tools/equipment.
• Ability to work under time pressure with irregular schedule.
• Maintain positive relationships with staff, guests, vendors, inspectors.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service to all customers.
• Prepare accurate written and verbal reports to Facility Manager/Director as required.
• Assist with monitoring and directing troubleshooting and repair tasks.
• Work within an approved budget and provide input for future budgets.
• Direct, coach and supervise all subordinates in their duties.
• Review auditable documents to ensure compliance with codes.
• Provide daily work lists to all subordinates.
• Conduct work safely and encourage safe practices.
• Monitor building conditions and guest safety.
• Manage Preventive Maintenance program data.
