Job summary

Flowserve US Inc. seeks a proactive facilities specialist to develop and manage a comprehensive maintenance plan for the Dallas Training Center.

You will oversee preventive maintenance, coordinate external vendors, and ensure safety and equipment readiness for staff and learners. You will inspect facilities, manage inventory, uphold health and safety standards, and drive 5S initiatives across training spaces.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in facility and equipment maintenance, logistics or inventory management, and health, safety, and environmental compliance.
• Familiarity with 5S and sustaining workplace organization initiatives.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and collaboration across functions.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive facility-maintenance plan, including preventive-maintenance schedules, repairs, and upgrades.
• Conduct regular inspections of the training center to identify and address maintenance issues, ensuring a safe environment for staff, learners, and visitors.
• Coordinate external vendors and contractors for repairs and maintenance services, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
• Support day-to-day operational readiness of training rooms, labs, storage areas, and shared spaces.
• Manage logistics of training-equipment inventory, including procurement, tracking, maintenance, and availability.
• Conduct regular equipment-inventory audits to maintain accuracy and availability for training.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and repairs to minimize disruptions to training activities.
• Maintain organized equipment-storage practices and clear inventory records.
• Monitor and enforce health, safety, and environmental regulations, including risk assessments and staff training as needed.
• Develop and maintain health, safety, and environmental documentation, including policies and incident reports.
• Promote a safe work environment for employees, instructors, learners, contractors, and visitors.
• Implement and maintain 5S to support a clean, organized training environment.
• Train staff on 5S principles and encourage participation in maintaining a 5S culture.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements related to facility maintenance and training-equipment logistics.
