Niles Skilled Nursing and Rehab Center is seeking an experienced Director of Environmental Services to lead and oversee the facility's environmental services, including maintenance, housekeeping, and laundry, ensuring a safe and well-maintained environment for residents, staff, and visitors.

The role requires strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate with facility leadership, manage vendors, and monitor budgets.

Qualifications

• Experience maintaining healthcare or similar facilities.
• Associate degree or trade-school certification required.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, train, supervise, and schedule Environmental Services staff.
• Manage timekeeping, attendance, and personnel matters.
• Coordinate with leadership on operations, housekeeping, laundry, and maintenance.
• Oversee maintenance and upkeep of facility, indoors and outdoors.
• Monitor vendors and service contracts within budget.
• Maintain inventories and assist with capital planning.
• Keep accurate records and inspections.
