Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor in Lake Havasu City, AZ to support the Rooms Manager and lead the engineering team in daily operations.

You will supervise Engineering Technicians, conduct safety inspections, and ensure OSHA and GHS compliance while upholding high quality standards. You will partner with engineering leadership and HR to maintain workplace standards, manage vendor relationships, review bids, and support strategic initiatives for the resort.

Qualifications

• HVAC, electrical and plumbing certifications are preferred.
• CPO and CPR certifications or willingness to obtain them.
• OSHA, EPA certifications.
• Strong contractor and vendor negotiation skills.
• Knowledge of safety with power tools and shop tools.
• Experience with pool pumps and filtration systems.
• ADA knowledge and reading blueprints.
• Familiarity with fire codes and fire protection.
• Analytical ability to understand numbers and work under pressure.
• Strong leadership and excellent communication skills.
• Customer service focus with guests and owners.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• 3+ years related work experience; 1+ year supervisory experience preferred.
• 1+ year in mechanical fields (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).

Responsibilities

• Assist engineering leadership with management of the engineering department and vendor operations.
• Provide direction and supervision to Engineering Technicians for daily operations.
• Ensure the engineering department meets Internal, Quality, and Loss Prevention Audit standards.
• Collaborate with HR and department leadership to ensure workplace standards.
• Support and manage financial aspects of the engineering department.
