Job summary

MACOM in Durham, NC designs and manufactures advanced semiconductor products and seeks a Facilities Engineering Project Manager to lead capital construction, infrastructure upgrades, and equipment installations ensuring safe, compliant, and cost‑effective operations.

You will partner with Operations, EH&S, Finance and external contractors, develop project charters, schedules, budgets, ROI analyses, and multi year capital plans, and drive projects from concept to commissioning within scope and

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in engineering required.
7–10 years of facilities engineering or capital project experience.
PMP certification or training preferred.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Experience with CMMS, BAS, and energy management systems.
Lean, Six Sigma, or reliability engineering expertise.

Responsibilities

Lead facilities engineering programs and capital projects.
Develop charters, schedules, budgets, and risk assessments.
Establish governance, metrics, and reporting.
Manage contractors, consultants, and budgets.
Coordinate cross‑functional teams across Operations, Manufacturing, R&D, and EHS.
Track milestones and ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery.
