Job summary

Asbury Communities, Inc. is seeking a Facilities / Engineering Operations Manager I to oversee and optimize facilities and engineering services within a senior living environment. You will ensure safe, efficient operations, manage budgets, and lead a skilled team across multiple systems.

In this role you will collaborate with clients and stakeholders, drive continuous improvement, and apply CMMS data to optimize workflows while maintaining compliance and high service quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3 years of management experience.
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Experience managing facilities, mechanical systems, or engineering operations.
• Strong budgeting and reporting skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Hands-on CMMS/work order knowledge and data-driven improvements.
• Safety-first mindset with ability to coordinate multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee complex building systems and maintenance programs.
• Lead a high-performing safety- and training-focused team.
• Collaborate with clients and stakeholders on technical solutions.
• Manage budgets, vendors, and service contracts.
• Use CMMS data to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
• Ensure safety, QA compliance across operations.
• Lead initiatives that boost facilities uptime and performance.
