Job summary

Asbury Communities is seeking a Facilities / Engineering Operations Manager I to oversee facilities and engineering services across systems, budgets, and client relationships. This role emphasizes safety, data-driven decision making, and staff development.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • Management experience: 3 years.
  • Related experience: 3–5 years.
  • Proven experience managing facilities, mechanical systems, or engineering operations in a complex environment.
  • Technical skills plus financial acumen for budgeting, resource allocation, and performance tracking.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with frontline teams, vendors, and client stakeholders.
  • Hands-on CMMS/work order systems knowledge and data-driven improvements.
  • Safety-first mindset with ability to coordinate multiple projects while ensuring compliance and service excellence.

Schedule & Compensation
  • Typical Shift: 7:30am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
  • Pay Range: $80,000 - $90,000

In this operational leadership role, you’ll oversee and optimize facilities and engineering services to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant performance across all systems and teams. You’ll manage everything from mechanical systems and maintenance workflows to budgeting, safety programs, and client relationships, all while developing staff and driving continuous improvement in service delivery.
