GE Vernova in Greenville, SC is seeking a Senior Plant Systems Leader to guide design, integration, and execution across complex power projects. You will own plant operability, design, P&IDs, and mechanical systems, coordinating with engineering teams, partners, EPCs, suppliers, and customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Experience in systems engineering of power plants (combined cycle, simple cycle, or large thermal).
• Deep technical knowledge of plant systems and interfaces.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary engineering in large power projects.
• Ability to manage technical interfaces in a global matrix.

Responsibilities

• Lead operability and design, plant performance, P&IDs, and plant mechanical systems for GE Vernova scope.
• System Interface Owner for plant mechanical integration across design, operability, performance, safety, and contract requirements.
• Ensure maturity of contractual deliverables via proactive coordination and anticipation of changes.
• Organize and lead system design reviews and technical reviews for quality and compliance.
• Own design change management across the project lifecycle and communicate changes to stakeholders.
• Partner with project team on contract review, schedule alignment, procurement, and customer deliverables.
• Support construction, commissioning, and site issue resolution with timely closure.
• Contribute to continuous quality and lean engineering workflows for maintainability and reliability.
