Job summary

HonorHealth is seeking an Engineering Supervisor in Phoenix, AZ to manage daily operations of the Facilities Engineering department. This role requires leadership across multiple trades and ensuring safe, efficient building systems.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years in building maintenance and advanced proficiency in plumbing, electrical, or HVAC. Trade School Certification or military engineering experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Trade School Certification in one or more fields or military engineering experience.
Minimum of 10 years of experience in building maintenance and engineering.
Advanced proficiency in multiple trades (plumbing, electrical, or HVAC).

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the engineering team.
Develop, implement, and maintain preventive maintenance schedules.
Perform complex troubleshooting and repairs across plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems.
Manage departmental resources, including staffing, equipment, and materials.
Coordinate and support regulatory and preventive maintenance inspections.
Collaborate with healthcare department leaders and partners to plan facility improvements.
Ensure adherence to regulations and standards (NFPA, CMS, FGI, ASHRAE).
Maintain compliance with PCRA, ICRA, and ILSM requirements.
