Job summary

HonorHealth's Four Peaks Medical Center in Mesa, AZ, is seeking a Lead Building Systems Technician to provide leadership and technical expertise in building maintenance, power plant operations, HVAC and energy management.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance, project oversight, training staff, budgeting support, and ensuring high-quality patient care and customer satisfaction through reliable facilities services.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Associates in Mechanical/Electrical Technology preferred.
• Technical training diploma/degree or refrigeration certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates and maintains Power Plant systems, HVAC, and building systems across facilities.
• Provides leadership and direction to assigned staff; prepares schedules and assigns work.
• Maintains regulatory compliance documentation (ADEQ, Life Safety Code, Fire Alarm Testing, etc.).
• Documents work in the CMMS and monitors quality indicators and staff performance.
• Plans training needs and assists with capital projects and budgets; participates in hiring and evaluations.
