Job Description
Engineering Coordinator facilitates the activities of the Engineering Department and performs analysis and tracking of various programs of department and internal data entry.
Responsibilities
- Receives and looks over all engineering request forms to decide problem and resolution.
- Aids in the planning and financial budgets of projects, remodeling, expansions and bid documents by outside contractors.
- Monitors HOTSOS Maintenance program, inputs new data, and processes the work orders generated and schedules.
- Monitors Guest Room PM logs, monitors and updates completed and non‑completed items.
- Tracks Guest Room PM & Special Project tasks that require follow‑up schedules and purchases.
- Monitors VIP Report and assigns inspections.
- Monitors Medallia comments, tracks engineering related items for follow‑up.
- Reconciles these items with HOTSOS to analyze for trends and problem solving.
- Assists in all building automation system temperature adjustments and inspections with business space schedules.
- Conducts an operational analysis of energy usage, tracks consumption patterns, and Energy Procurement for energy saving.
- Assists in performing all other non‑gaming floor engineering related tasks.
- Performs essential office and clerical duties (file, paperwork, reports, reception, phone).
- Performs the department budget oversight, generates POs, Capital POs, check requests, monitors and updates contracts book, checkbook logging, assists in managing the Green Team, all office needed excel spreadsheets or word documents, month‑end closing of checkbook, accruals, vendor and contractor invoicing follow‑up, and taking invoices to Shipping & Receiving and in Accounts Payable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Two years of previous work‑related experience is required.
- Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft products and programs.
- Must be able to work in smoke‑filled environments.
