Job summary

Amp Americas is seeking a Facilities Engineer to ensure safe operation of RNG assets, maximize uptime, and optimize reliability. You will work with operations and engineering staff on-site to troubleshoot, commission new plants, and drive process improvements, designing and implementing projects with vendor management.

Reports to the Plant Manager. The role requires hands-on problem solving, strong communication, and experience with gas processing equipment, SCADA, and data historians.

Qualifications

• Clear, concise communication (oral and written) is essential.
• Experience with SCADA systems and data historians.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental preferred).

Responsibilities

• Manage process improvement projects for RNG facilities from identification to execution.
• Collaborate with operations and engineering staff on-site to troubleshoot issues and optimize throughput.
• Design, specify, and implement process improvements; coordinate vendor activity and FAT testing.
• Develop SOPs and training materials with plant managers; manage vendors to improve reliability and reduce costs.
• Conduct RCFA analyses and support regulatory tracking related to emissions and CI scores.
