Job summary

AD Energy Recruitment is partnering to place a Plant Manager for a large-scale dairy manure RNG facility in Colorado. This senior leadership role oversees anaerobic digestion, gas upgrading, and balance-of-plant systems with full accountability for safety, compliance, and profitability.

Qualifications

• 8+ years hands-on experience managing anaerobic digestion, biogas, or RNG facilities.
• Experience leading multi-disciplinary site teams in regulated environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills across biological and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end plant operations including digestion performance, gas production, maintenance strategy, safety systems, environmental compliance, and cost control.
• Lead operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel; collaborate with engineering, development, finance and senior leadership.
• Develop and manage budgets; justify capital projects; monitor cost performance and deliver monthly/annual reports.
