Job summary

AD Energy Recruitment is seeking a Senior Process Engineer for RNG projects in Bakersfield, CA. You will lead process design and deliverables, mentor junior engineers and ensure safety, regulatory and commercial compliance across the project lifecycle.

The role requires 8–12 years in RNG/biogas or related fields, strong expertise in PFDs, P&IDs and heat/mass balances, and PE licensure. On-site work in Bakersfield, with cross-functional collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 8–12 years of process engineering in RNG/biogas or gas processing.
• Strong experience with PFDs, P&IDs, BFDs and heat/mass balances.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and review of process deliverables (PFDs, P&IDs, equipment specs, calculations).
• Provide technical expertise across anaerobic digestion, biogas upgrading, gas conditioning, compression and interconnections.
