Job summary

ABM is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive and reactive maintenance across job sites and facilities. The role includes mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and instrumentation tasks, with emphasis on safety and environmental protection.

You will conduct rounds, respond to spills, and support emergency and after-hours maintenance activities. Compensation starts at $30 per hour, up to $36.50 per hour, with benefits and a comprehensive package available.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; technical/vocational training preferred.
2+ years facility/industrial maintenance experience required.
Experience with HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and related facility systems.
Respond to work orders and service requests in a timely manner.
Inspect facility equipment to identify safety hazards, operational deficiencies, or maintenance needs.
Repair or replace pumps, motors, valves, fittings, lighting fixtures, and other building components.
Maintain interior and exterior building infrastructure in safe working condition.
Utilize CMMS to document work performed and maintain records.
Assist with equipment installations and facility improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.
