Job summary

Hunt, Guillot & Associates LLC (HGA) seeks a Facilities Engineer to support the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of a manufacturing facility in Pollock, Louisiana through engineering expertise, project management, continuous improvement initiatives, and asset reliability programs.

This role partners with operations, maintenance, environmental, and safety teams to optimize plant performance, improve equipment reliability, reduce downtime, and support capital improvement projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in industrial environments including operating areas and construction projects.
• Willingness to travel between facilities as needed.
• Capability to wear PPE and work around heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations, maintenance, environmental, and safety teams to optimize plant performance.
• Support asset reliability programs to improve equipment uptime and reduce downtime.
• Assist in developing and implementing engineering solutions to improve productivity and reduce operating costs.
• Support capital improvement projects from planning through execution.
• Identify and implement energy efficiency improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
