Job summary

Hunt Forest Products, L.L.C. seeks a Facilities Engineer to support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of manufacturing facilities. You will apply engineering expertise, manage projects, and drive reliability programs to improve uptime and reduce costs.

You will partner with operations, maintenance, environmental, and safety teams to optimize plant performance, implement preventive maintenance, and support capital projects, energy efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering (or related).
• Minimum of 3 years engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Experience with industrial automation, PLCs, instrumentation, and process controls.

Responsibilities

• Support reliability, maintainability, and operational effectiveness of plant equipment and infrastructure.
• Analyze equipment performance and recommend improvements to maximize uptime and efficiency.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
• Conduct root cause failure analysis and participate in corrective action planning.
• Monitor and optimize utility systems and facility infrastructure.
• Manage and support capital projects from concept to startup.
