Job summary

Hunt Guillot & Associates (HGA) seeks a Facilities Engineer to support a manufacturing facility in Pollock, Louisiana. The role focuses on engineering expertise, project management, continuous improvement initiatives, and asset reliability programs to optimize plant performance, reduce downtime, and advance capital projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline (Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial).
• Minimum of 3 years’ engineering experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work in industrial settings including operating areas, maintenance shops, and construction projects.
• Willingness to travel between facilities as needed; able to wear PPE and climb stairs/ladders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with operations, maintenance, environmental, and safety teams to optimize plant performance.
• Support asset reliability programs to improve equipment uptime and reduce downtime.
• Assist in developing and implementing engineering solutions to improve productivity and reduce operating costs.
• Support capital improvement projects from planning through execution.
• Identify and implement energy efficiency improvements.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.
