Job summary

Hunt Guillot & Associates (HGA) seeks a Mechanical Maintenance Supervisor for its Pollock, LA operation. You will lead a team of millwrights, leads, mechanics, planners, and technicians to keep production equipment running at peak performance while minimizing downtime.

Qualifications

• Accredited degree or equivalent hands-on experience.
• 7+ years as a millwright.
• Strong mechanical and technical expertise, including welding knowledge.
• Proven leadership and supervisory experience.
• Strong problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
• Ability to plan, organize, and execute maintenance work effectively.
• Strong communication skills and ability to lead and train teams.
• Working knowledge of reliability maintenance practices.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call rotations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring all work is performed safely by addressing hazards before tasks begin.
• Leading maintenance planning, scheduling, and project execution.
• Auditing and inspecting maintenance work for quality and accuracy.
• Diagnosing and resolving complex mechanical issues.
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records.
• Optimizing equipment performance and reliability.
• Driving safety initiatives, including LOTO and Hot Work compliance.
• Managing resources and adjusting priorities based on business needs.
