Job summary

RigUp, Inc. is seeking a Facilities Engineer/ Specialist II to support safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant facilities.

You will evaluate and coordinate engineering activities related to process and mechanical systems, ensuring compliance with standards and regulatory requirements. The role interfaces with engineering, operations, and maintenance teams to support plant performance through surveillance, troubleshooting, and maintenance planning.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in oil and gas or industrial facilities engineering.
• Experience supporting plant operations, maintenance, or process systems.
• Knowledge of pressure systems, piping, and facility equipment.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment and support multiple stakeholders.
• Strong communication skills in technical and business settings.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities, deadlines, and workloads.

Responsibilities

• Review and evaluate engineering work performed by internal teams and external contractors to ensure compliance with standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure engineering and design activities align with established procedures and operational goals.
• Maintain awareness of applicable codes, standards, and safety requirements.
• Serve as an area engineer supporting a specific plant or facility area and provide technical support for day-to-day operations.
• Support modifications, repairs, and alterations to plant equipment such as piping, pressure vessels, rotating equipment, and storage tanks.
• Assist in maintaining equipment integrity and reliability across assigned areas.
• Conduct routine facility surveillance activities based on KPIs and monitor plant conditions for optimization.
• Coordinate with maintenance, operations, and project teams during planned shutdowns, turnarounds, and maintenance events.
• Assist with planning and execution of facility upgrades and capital improvements.
• Facilitate clear communication between engineering, operations, and other teams and provide progress updates.
